Supplies Needed

I get asked occasionally what we need for our classroom. I appreciate that but have never really asked for much besides Kleenex and Plastic bags. I am including a list of a few things I could use if you have any of these!  Thank you in advance!

Cotton Balls
White/blue paper cups
Small pinecones
Doilies
Candy hearts

Valentine Fun!

Please DO NOT put each student's name on the cards!  This is more frustrating for the student giving the card than beneficial.  What you can do is have your child sign their name on the FROM/LOVE line.
We will exchange cards and have treats on Friday, February 14th :)

We have 27 students and 2 teachers :)

Treat team: Lily, Isla B., Eli, Jacob, & Brylee
Thank you Jacob and Eli for bringing in a sweet treat!

Honesty Students of the Month

Great care is taken when choosing the students of the month. These 3 students are always honest...even if they share too much information (lol)!  So proud of you Aubrey (JK), Jacob (JK), and Ashton. I think it is wonderful that 3 JKs have been chosen for this character trait.
Congrats Aubrey, Jacob, and Ashton!

Thank you!

Thank you sooo much Kennedy (Logan) family. Your donation of Play-Doh to our classroom makes our learning more fun.

Games are a hit in our classroom

Candyland, Sorry, Uno, and Connect 4 are some of our favourites!

Shapes All Around

Using beaded necklaces and wiki stix to make shapes

  Toothpicks and playdoh work too!

Maybe Jacob will be a builder???!!

Everett will make anything for a dinosaur, even a cage such as this!

Welcome Back!

Image result for picture of new year 2020

Welcome back!  I, believe it or not, am excited to get back into a routine and feel productive!  I also miss the littles.  We have Diane Lloyd joining us for this week and then likely a permanent DECE will start the following week.  We will be resuming our home reading program, in class reading groups, and Library!  If you are interested in coming in to the school to do some reading, please jot me a note in the agenda. I can see what times we have available!  The SKs will be tackling writing a whole lot more and the JKs will continue working on alphabet letters/sounds and a few are even ready to start putting words together!  I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas break with your families and a restful one. Time to get back to the grind :) 6 weeks until Family Day long weekend, but who is counting!
