Just a few quick notes! Remember, to save on paper and teacher time, all important information about our classroom rules, routines, and procedures will be posted here.
Show and Tell: On Fridays, the students may bring in a show and tell item. This is not something they have to do or need to do every Friday but if there is something special they want to show, Friday is the day! We call Fridays around here "Fun Friday"!
Reading Folders: Over the next few days, a reading envelope will come home with your child. Included in this folder is a book. There is no need to record/print the name of the book. The students will independently choose a book they have not read.
***I am looking for a parent or 2 who would like to come in and volunteer. This parent would read with the students and help them exchange books. I would like to do this on Mondays. Please jot down a note in your child's communication book if you would like to volunteer. You MUST have a police check and volunteer form completed.
SKS, there is a sheet in your reading folder. This sheet informs you of the 'word of the week', starting with 'a'.
If you have not sent an extra pair of clothing with your child, please do so. We go through clothes quite regularly!
