Thursday, November 1 is Picture Retake Day! Please jot us a note in the agenda or shoot me a text using Remind so we can make sure your student gets their picture retaken!

Get your boogie shoes on!  On Wednesday, we have a dance!  Please bring a toonie or even better, a donation to the Georgian  Triangle Humane Society!! Also on this day we will celebrate spooky and fun things that happen in Fall!!  Wear black, orange, and purple!

On Wednesday, October 31 we are celebrating a great fall term!  5 parents are bringing treats for all of us to share.  Please remember that only 2 volunteers are bringing a sweet treat for all.  The rest of our October treat team should try and stick to healthier choices such as:

chips and salsa

fruit

veggies and dip

cheese strings

rice krispie treats

muffins

pretzels

Alphabet Game!

An amazingly huge indicator of reading success is your child knowing the sounds each letter makes in the alphabet. We play daily alphabet games and spend lots of time chatting about the sounds.  If you want to help your student learn to read, talk about letter sounds and read!  A question I tend to get is "is it ok for me to read to my child?' ABSOLUTELY! Students need to hear you read.  When they are ready to try, you will know!
