Christmas Concert News!
Our annual Christmas Concert is on December 9th! All I need from your cutie is 1) a FLASHLIGHT (preferably a tall one, not a big cube! 2) to show up looking nice, whatever you want them to wear for a Christmas concert!

What kind of learning is happening?
Overview of our studies!
Language Arts:
Weekly Words will continue to get a bit more difficult.
Word Quiz every Friday (or the last day of the work week).
Writing conventions:
Grade 2 is working on periods, commas, and quotation marks.
Grade 3 is working on Paragraph writing and the steps in answering multiple choice questions such as those present on EQAO.
Math:
Data Management
Grade 2: Collecting and organizing data. Presenting information in simple graphs, such as bar graphs and picture graphs. NEATNESS counts! Grade 2s need lots of reminders to use a ruler when working on graphs!
Grade 3: Collecting, organizing, and presenting data. Grade 3s will look at many types of graphs. They will be working on a project where they compose a question, collect the information, make a graph, and analyze the data.
Both grades will have technology incorporated into this Data Management unit. Lots of fun, hands-on discovery!
